Clint proposed on 12-16-07 while we were snowboarding at one of our favorite resorts, Mt Baker. We were in Bellingham celebrating an early Christmas with my sister and of course the best way to do that was with an awesome day of hiking and riding Mt Baker. That day the conditions were great, very stormy, and we had been hiking the ridge for most of the day. When we had finished the last hike of the afternoon, preparing to ride down, and the sun came out for the first time that day. Clint asked me if I was having a good day, I replied "of course, this is awesome!" Before I knew it he was down on his knees in the snow, fishing my beautiful ring out of his jacket, and asking me to spend the rest of my life with him. And I said yes!

I'm so happy for both of you!!! August will be wonderful and to celebrate this special event on the beach is too perfect!!
I just read the 'proposal' and it brought tears to my eyes. This is so exciting.
I've always felt I'm in God's presence on a sandy beach looking out to sea and I'm sure He'll put this date on his calendar so He will be there to bless your marriage.
